Coro Jewelry 1960s Vintage Butterfly Pin Blue Washed Gold Brooch
This vintage butterfly pin is very different from most older butterfly designs. Made only in 1965, the pin is designer signed Crowning Glory with the crown logo, which is a rather rare signature line made by Coro.
The butterfly is made of thick satin gold glistening metal and the wings are washed with light sky blue flat enamel. The enamel was "wash" applied, allowing some of the gold to show through. In addition, the wings lay in an elegant flowing fashion like fabric or ribbon.
The butterfly is medium in size at 2" tall x 2 1/2" wide or 5 cm x 6.3. cm. The entire brooch is in pristine like new condition with no signs of wear or other imperfections. The whole piece is perfectly clean. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the Crowning Glory cartouche.
You can add a gold brooch slider to convert this pin to a pendant by checking the box below. Sliders come with a pair of silicon stoppers to hold slider in place.
