Vintage Gemstone Earrings Silver Pyrite Dangles 1950s Jewelry
These very unsuual vintage 1950s or 1960s earrings are made of pyrite gemstones. The pyrite is silver-grey metallic in appearance and the gems are natural nuggets.
The earrings were originally clips but have been converted to pierced earrings. The silver metal ear wires have Fleur de Lis finials and closure backs.
The nuggets are not large or heavy and measure about 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. With the ear wires, the earrings hang down 1 1/8" long. The earrings are not signed, but they are in pristine like new unworn condition.
