Napier Vintage Necklace Modernist Bold Silver Links 1970s Jewelry
Made in the 1970-1980 era, this impressive bold modernist necklace is designer signed Napier. Originally, Napier made necklace designs like this in the 1950s and in the 1970-1980 era, they made similar styles again, as designs like this came back in style.
This necklace is one of Napier's most illusive designs; a design that is very hard to find.
The necklace is made of highly polished silver rhodium metal that looks like brand new sterling but polishes much easier than sterling. The necklace features crescent moon links; small ones on the chain area and larger stacked moons on the V shaped medallion. The necklace is finished with a large easy to use fold over box clasp.
Commanding and bold, the necklace has a bulky look but it is not heavy to wear. When clasped, the necklace is 16 1/4" or 41.3 cm long. The moons on the chain are 5/8" or 17 mm wide. The medallion area is 3 5/8" wide x 2 3/8" tall or 95 mm x 58 mm.
The entire necklace is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. It is obvious the necklace has never been worn. The necklace is exceptionally perfect with no scratches, scuffs, or signs of wear. The clasp is signed Napier ©.
