Vintage Flower Pin Big Purple Lace Exotic Brooch 1960s Jewelry
Have a look at this very exotic and rare 1960s enamel flower pin, because you will most likely never see another one like it!
This large petal design has tiny pierced holes, making the flower look like it is made of lace! The snazzy deep purple, light pink and white glossy enamels were air brushed, or spray painted with precision tools. The colors were blended by a master air brush artist. The flower is rather large and will fill the palm of your hand ( see my photos ).
Now, this is a the amazing part. This brooch has never been worn and is in pristine like new condition! The enamels are perfectly glossy with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Even the enamels on the edges of the petals an the stem are perfect. There is not one tiny little speck of missing enamel, not even under high magnification. The brooch is perfectly clean and dust free as well.
The brooch is not signed but I am fairly certain it was made in West Germany. (Almost all of the really unique and unusual old enamel flower pins were made in West Germany). This spectacular flower brooch measures 3 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide and has the original fine working safety clasp.
This is the creme de le creme of old enamel flower pins!
You can add a silver or gold brooch slider to convert this pin to a pendant by checking the box below. Sliders come with a pair of silicon stoppers to hold slider in place.
