Made by Sarah Coventry in the 1960s, this triple strand ribbed gold bead necklace is more than just a classic vintage design.
Ribbed gold ball bead necklaces are not made anymore and the technique goes all the way back to the Victorian era. Ribbed gold beads are rather fascinating as the swirled texture creates exceptional sparkle.
This elegant design is a short necklace style with a classy matching button that hides the insert clasp. The shortest strand on the necklace is 15 1/2" or 38 cm long when clasped. The gold ball beads are 6 mm.
The entire necklace is in pristine like new condition and all of the beads are microscopically clean and bright. There is no gold wear or loss of gold and the clasp is like new as well and in perfect working order. The clasp is signed SAR COV.
