Do you remember the type of chrome that used to be standard on cars and trucks in the 1950s' and 1960's ? Thick mirror chrome that seemed to last forever? Items made of chrome are virtually non-existent today as everything that looks like chrome is now silver metallic plastic, even on the most expensive of vehicles. Chrome is a metal that has now become outrageously expensive, and you certainly will not find anyone making jewelry out of it anymore!
These wave style earrings were made in the 1950s and are signed Coro in script without copyright. These earrings are about 50 years old and you can see for yourself that old Chrome really withstands the test of time ! This chrome looks like sterling silver and polishes like sterling too.
These earrings have been well cared for. The earrings are screw backs and are about this size of a US quarter, or 1 1/8" tall x 7/8"wide. Both earrings are perfectly clean with no imperfections or flaws.
