Designer signed by Hickok, these zodiac astrology 1970s vintage cufflinks were made for designer Oleg Cassini. This is a very uncommon pair of vintage designer zodiac cufflinks; a style eagerly sought by collectors.
These Leo the Lion cufflinks are mint in their original box. The cufflink box is lime green velvet with an antiqued metal crest shield on the top and two antiqued metallic tags inside that read Oleg Cassini and Leo, Jul. 23 to Aug. 22. The box is in excellent clean unworn condition.
The round cufflinks are an impressive thick and bold design with quality German beveled rainbow crystals and a gold intaglio lion at the center. The deep bezels are brush textured gold metal and the wraps are gold mesh metal.
This pair has obviously never been worn as the set is in pristine like new microscopically clean condition. There is no gold wear or other imperfections and the crystals are perfect with no chips or scratches. The faces of the cufflinks are 7/8" or 23 mm wide. Both cufflinks are signed Hickock.
