1930s Art Nouveau Gold Flower Vintage Choker Necklace
# 1011
$110.00
Made in the 1930-1940 era, this exceptional rose gold flower necklace is an Art Nouveau styled choker necklace.
It is a very unusual old design and there are two different flower designs alternating with petals turned up and turned down. The necklace looks antique as the design is actually an Art Nouveau reproduction, or made from an antique mold. Molds from the 1900-1920 era were often used in jewelry in the 1930s and 1940s.
Notice the old fashioned links that join the petals and the large gold metal ball beads at the center of each flower. The necklace has spectacular reflectivity and the gold is a beautiful shade of rose gold or copper gold. The necklace is not solid gold but appears to be gold filled, perhaps 1/20 10kt or 12kt.
Unsigned, the necklace is 16" or 41 cm long. Each flower is about the size of a US nickel, or 7/8" or 23 mm wide. If you would like the necklace to be a little bit longer, you can add a 6" gold metal extension chain by checking the box.
The necklace is in spectacular well cared for condition with no imperfections or flaws. The entire necklace is microscopically clean and bright with no scratches or dings. The necklace has the original old style 1940s double-C fold over clasp from the 1930-1940 era.
If you need an extension chain made for this necklace so it can be hooked up to 24" long, please see the Miscellaneous jewelry category below to add one.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
