This amazing crystal necklace is a unique design that was made in the Retro Modern period, 1935-1945, just after the end of the Art Deco period. The modern Austrian crystals are faceted tubes and with a high lead content as they are heavy old crystals. The crystals are fire polished and refract pastel rainbow prisms of light.

The crystals are 1/2" long x 3/8" wide. Every crystal is spaced by 8mm gold plated metal round rib beads and small polished gold metal beads.

The necklace measures 24" long. The original gold metal tubular insert box clasp is in fine working order. The necklace is in excellent condition for age and is exceptionally clean. The crystals have some very light wear to the fire polish finish from age but there is no facet edge wear and there are no chips. The gold beads are shiny and bright with no wear. The necklace is strung on invisible strong silk cotton cord.
