Exceptional and Rare Van Dell Sterling Vermeil Flower Pin ~ Book piece of astounding size and quality, this rare Van Dell Sterling and 12 kt gold filled brooch is impressive!

Made in the 1940s, this stupendous brooch is in superb condition with no imperfections or scratches and is all original. This piece books for much higher that the price listed here. Has the Van Dell cartouche on the back and is signed Van Dell, 1/20 12kt gold filled on Sterling.

It measures 5 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide, or about the size of your entire hand! It weighs 26 grams.

The gold inside the deep concave flowers and where the metal was artistically ribbed on each petal, is a bright copper gold. The leaves and the tips of the flower petals have a very uncommon blue green gold vermeil. The top flower spray has three pearls on sterling gold vermeil stems. The long hand bent round flower stems are rose gold. Each flower has passionate pink faceted crystals in custom bezel settings.
