This large 1940s era Buddha medallion is a very unusual vintage necklace and the craftsmanship is very unique.

The Buddha is designer signed, signed by Delux. It is also signed 800 for 800 silver and there is a Chinese insignia as well. Look at the back : the way in which the pendant is hand hammered silver. The Buddha is in relief on the top, as well as the scrolls and leaves around the perimeter. The entire piece feels neat to hold because there are so many different textures.

The medallion is thin and light weight and is 2" wide. The bail and the 20" chain are sterling silver and the spring clasp is signed sterling.

The medallion has a burnished finish or patina and is in perfect condition with no scratches, dings, or other imperfections. The chain and bail are clean and like new as well.
