Made in the 1940-1950 era, these impressive Italian mosaic glass clip earrings are cheerful bright red flowers. The earrings are gold gilt brass with micro-mosaic glass petals in red, white, and cobalt. The center of the flower has on old machined brass domed bead.

These earrings are an old, unusual flower design. Most Italian mosaic earrings were oval, round, square, diamond, or heart shapes. It is very uncommon to find flower shapes in old Italian mosaic jewelry.

Medium petite in size, the earrings are 1" or 25 mm wide. Both earrings are in microscopically clean pristine condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the glass mosaic work is glossy and perfect with no missing glass and no imperfections or flaws. The clips are in perfect working order with no wear. Both earrings are signed Italy.
