This vintage Sterling Silver and Marcasite triple heart pin dates from the 1940-1950 era.

The pin is signed NF 925. NF means nickel free. The heart at the center is paved with small faceted Marcasites and the outside hearts are polished silver. The pin has a marvelous antique patina yet the silver is clean, bright, and blemish free.

Medium petite in size, the pin is 1 3/8" long x 1" tall or 42 mm x 25mm. It weighs 4 grams of sterling silver.

All of the Marcasites are original, present, and in perfect shape. The sterling both front and back is in exceptional condition with no scratches, scuffs, or dings. The brooch has the original fine working sterling safety clasp and early 1950s style hinge.
