Made in the 1950s, this very regal Cameo brooch is a quality heirloom jewelry.

The Cameo is a modern round design, stacked and layered in gleaming formal tiers of gold, black, and white. The cameo and the background is made of black lava glass. The background has a high polished mirror finish while the cameo has an elegant satin finish. The round black glass cab is bezel set in a 12 kt gold filled twisted rope frame. Finally, the finishing touch is a perfect frame of lustrous white freshwater seed pearls.

Medium in size, the brooch is 1 3/8" or 37 mm wide. The brooch is not signed but based on the quality and the construction, it was most likely made in Italy or England. The entire brooch is in pristine perfect condition. There are no scratches, scuffs, or other imperfections or flaws. There is no gold wear or loss of gold. The pearls are all perfect as well. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
