From the early 1950s, these clear crystal Midi chandelier earrings are designer signed Coro. The crystals and rhinestones set in these earrings have super spectacular Austrian quality clarity and brilliance.
You may think that Coro having been such a mainstream jewelry designer would have made a lot of earrings like this but Coro made very few chandelier earrings. I don't think they could dominate the market place up against so many other top designers so, signed Coro Chandelier earrings are rather rare, and very valuable.
They didn't skimp on the quality of the Austrian crystals and these have spectacular brilliance like you'd expect from Eisenberg or Weiss.
The few chandelier designs that Coro made were all made between 1952 and 1954. These earrings are signed Coro in script without copyright, so they are pre-1955.
The earrings are screw backs made of silver rhodium metal. At the top middle and the bottom middle of the danglea are 8 mm clear rhinestones. The rhinestones on the swinging chains are 5 mm.
The earrings are Midis, or medium in length at 1 5/8" long x 9/16" wide, or 4.3 cm x 1.4 cm.
All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling clear. Both earrings are in pristine clean condition and have never been worn. The silver rhodium is clean and bright all around.
