This Austrian peridot crystal rhinestone brooch from the 1950s is exceptional! The brooch is a domed medallion style and the rhinestone crystals are excellent old-world quality with diamond like brilliance. All of the rhinestones are prong set in polished gold metal. There are two shades of green: bright yellow-lime Peridot and emerald.

There are 5 layers of rhinestone crystals and the brooch is a medium size at 1 1/2" wide. The dome stands out 3/4" high.

Notice the well-made polished gold filigree back. The brooch was probably made in Austria but it is not signed. The entire brooch is in pristine like new condition with no imperfections or signs of wear, both front and back. The rhinestones are all original, present, and super brilliant. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
