Made in the 1950s, this yellow celluloid leaf necklace is an old unsigned design that was made by Coro.

The 8 yellow celluloid leaves are fixed to gold metal settings with polished gold metal leaf emblems at the center of each leaf. Each leaf is also embellished with a clear rhinestone chaton along the bottom.

The chain is made of oval yellow celluloid links and polished brass oval links. There is a brass beehive style hang tag at the end of the chain; a style of hang tag that was used by Coro.

The necklace can be hooked up to 20 1/4" or 51 cm long. The focal leaf area is 9" long x 3/4" wide or 23 cm x 1.9 cm.

The entire necklace is in exemplary condition and is microscopically clean. All of the celluloid components are in perfect condition with no imperfections such as scratches, scuffs, or discoloration. The brass links are clean and bright, and all of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling clear. On the back of the necklace, there is gold metal wear only where the links join together.
