Made in the 1950s, this etched satin gold mushroom brooch is designer signed Napier. Napier made a few different mushroom pin designs but recently they have become very difficult to find as they are being hoarded by collectors. These twin mushrooms have parasol caps, perhaps made to look like morels. The caps and stems are finely etched with vertical ribs and a leaf design at the bottom.

Medium in size, the pin is 1 1/2" tall x 1 3/8" wide or 40 mm x 35 mm. The entire pin is like new both front and back. It is in pristine like new microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. There is no gold wear or loss of gold and no scratches, scuffs, or dings. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the ©Napier signature.
