These very unique old rainbow foil glass beads were made in the 1950-1960 era. The beads are black glass with metallic foil inside that appears to magically light up from within. Beads like this were predominately made in Venice and are called Venetian glass but they were also made in the southern Bohemian region.

The earrings were once clips but have been converted to pierced with new gold metal ear wires (with safety back closures). Medium petite in size, the earrings hang down 1 7/8" or 49 mm long. The glass beads are 10 mm.

The earrings are in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the beads are perfect with no chips or cracks. The earrings are not signed.
