This unique 1950s vintage Christmas tree brooch is a big, tall slender tree. It is a very old fashioned design that you dont see often!

The branches are pot metal, layered in 2 tiers, and every other branch has a small rhinestone chaton. This tree has lots of colored rhinestones in clear, pink, red, citrine, blue, and green; 25 rhinestones in all. The star on the top is in tact and strong. (On many older pieces, the star gets broken off.) The branches are painted in leaf green satin enamel.

The tree is 2 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" wide at the base. This may not sound large, but have a look at the photo of the tree in my hand ! The entire brooch is in excellent condition with no wear and no enamel loss. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling. The brooch has the original fine working safety clasp on the back as well.
