This very old porcelain bird figurine has been in my bedroom glass curio since the early 1960s. It is an old Japanese Capodimonte style bird that was made in the 1940s. It has the UCAGCO Japanese mark on the bottom, who was in business ONLY from 1947 to 1961.

Medium in size, the bird is 4 1/4" or 108 mm tall.

The biggest problem with old bird figurines is finding them in perfect condition.

Most you will find have chips on the wings, the tail, or the beak: BUT NOT THIS ONE.

The bird is in excellent condition with only possibly very minor signs of gentle handling. Very excellent clean condition.
