This Maine lobster pin is depicted with the large fat claws. Made in the 1950s, this pin is made of satin etched yellow gold metal with beveled and polished gold antennae. 

The lobster is a thick weighty cast and exceptionally well made; a designer made pin but not signed. Actually, it is the nicest all gold lobster pin I've ever seen in my 40+ years of collecting vintage jewelry. 

Medium in size, the lobster is 2" long x 1 1/8" wide or 50 mm x 28 mm.  The entire pin is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
