Not all vintage wood bead necklaces were created equal! Ive collected wood bead necklaces from the 1950s thru the 1980s for 40 years now. (My collection is limited and I only have a few more to list. These are rare and unusual designs and they do sell quickly.)

Made in the 1950s, this ethnic style necklace is a favorite in my collection for everyday wear.

The necklace is very "earthy" and the fabulous, antiqued gold bell caps in 2 different styles really adds a punch to the design. The necklace is made of large round polished wood beads with an oak finish. The large faceted marble beads are acrylic and the marbled tan, white, and brown colors are "in" the acrylic and not applied or painted to the surface. These beads look like carved agates. The marble beads at the top of the strands are not smooth as they have a pressed floral design.

The necklace is 37" or 94 cm long. The largest marble beads are 7/8" or 23 mm. The entire necklace is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The original 1950s brass spring clasp has a darkened patina from age and is in perfect working order. The necklace is not signed.
