From the 1955-1965 era, these rainbow foil glass earrings are predecessor of modern dichroic glass. How dichroic glass is made is completely different of course, but vintage Bohemian foil glass jewelry was the inspiration behind dichroic glass. Most vintage foil glass jewelry was made in Germany, and only for a short time.
These earrings have sparkling metallic foil colors in deep cobalt, bright green, bright pink-orange, and golden yellow. The earrings are made of gold plate metal and clear glass, not Lucite or plastic.
Unsigned, these screw back style earrings are petite in size at 3/4" long x 7/16" wide or 1.8 cm x 1 cm. Both earrings are in microscopically clean condition. The metallic foils are perfect. Some microscopic light gold wear can be detected around the frames, hardly worth noting.
