Designer signed Hedy and made in the 1950s, this fabulous flower brooch is from Harry Hedison's wild side! Hedy is rather notorious for their vintage enamel flower pins but it is rare to find one like this in these colors!
The use of 3 different hues of orange is eye popping and at center is a firework spray of stemmed tangerine rhinestones. This is not just one of my personal Hedy favorites; it is from my personal stash; a Hedy pin I've loved for many decades and kept safely stashed away.
Large in size, and you can see the size in the photo with the brooch in my hand, this metal enameled flower brooch is 3" long x 2 1/2" wide or 77 mm x 57 mm. The enamels are in excellent condition for age; exceptionally clean and glossy with only microscopic hints of wear. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and super sparkling. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the Hedy cartouche.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation brooch box.
