This very unique vintage seahorse pin was made in the 1950-1960 era. It was hand carved from a thick premium specimen of Mother of Pearl shell.

The Mother of Pearl has superb iridescence and luminosity with no scratches, scuffs, or chips. Unsigned, the pin is medium is size at 2" tall x 1" wide or 5 cm x 2.5 cm. The entire pin is microscopically clean and pristine and the back has the original fine working safety clasp.
