This is a sensational, very unique, vintage 1960s cultured pearl flower pin!

The design is extremely uncommon and Im certain it was not mass produced. The flower petals are round rods of bright yellow gold polished metal. The layered frilly design is gold metal wire spirals. The large 8.5 mm pearl at the center is a grade A specimen with perfect luminous luster.

This brooch is not signed but the construction is weighty, solid, and it is very fine quality. I have seen thousands of pearl pins, and this design is a very rare find. I would assume it was made in Japan, because it is not a piece that was mass produced in the US.

The brooch is a medium large design that measures 1 3/4" wide. The entire brooch, both front and back, is in pristine like new condition. Perfectly clean with no wear or imperfections as it has obviously never been worn.
