This gold and white big pearl necklace is a MOD design from the 1960's.

The pearls are strung on brass loop wires; something you don't see on newer pearl necklaces this style. The pearls are large and weighty acrylic beads with pearlescent bright white and satin gold finishes. The white pearls have terrific luster and look very much like Majorca pearls.

The pearls are about the size of small cherry tomatoes, or 5/8" or 1.6 cm wide. The necklace is 30" long or 75 cm and has a gold metal lobster clasp. This necklace is in pristine clean like new condition as I've had it tucked away for decades. It has never been worn and all of the pearls are microscopically clean and blemish free. I only see one pearl that has a tiny scuff mark.
