This Heisey / Imperial nursery rhyme child cup in green glass dates to the 1970s and I have owned it since it was new. You will find many reproductions of this cup for cheap prices, but this is an original old Heisy cup. Many fake reproductions were made because this design was a very admired Heisy pattern and eagerly sought after.

The Heisey pattern number is 1591; IG logo on bottom, Imperial's number 43320. Also signed 1895 - HEISEY - 1975. The mug has an elephant head handle and 8 recessed architectural panels with nursery rhyme characters around sides.

The mug is 3" tall x 4" wide, or 76 mm x 100 mm. This mug has been kept in a glass curio case for over 50 years and has never been handled. It is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no signs of wear. No scratches, chips, or scuffs.
