A very rare unique design, these vintage Ruby red glass cufflinks are domed glass Buddhas. They are designer signed by Swank and were made in the 1965-1975 era. Swank didn't make many cufflinks in this design. Im certain they were made in one year only and were probably produced for the Christmas holidays, just one year.

The cufflinks are bold, large, presentation designs. They are assuredly glass and not Lucite or plastic. The glass has a unique luminescent or glowing quality as the glass literally lights up on its on! The domed designs with Buddhas in relief are trimmed with gold plated metal ribbons in a satin textured finish. The cufflinks measure about 1 1/4" long x 1" wide.

If you see reflections on the glass in the pictures the looks black, it is just shadows in the lighting. The glass is pure red all over. Both cufflinks are signed Swank. The pair is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or gold wear.
