Made in the 1960s this Christmas "long" stocking pin is a very uncommon hard to find old holiday pin. In modern holiday jewelry, stocking pins are short, but the old style was a long stocking like this one.

The pin is made of silver rhodium metal. The red and white enamels on the stocking are solid enamels but the holly leaves are green translucent. The pin is topped with 3 red holly berry beads.

Medium in size, the pin is 2 1/4" long x 1 1/2" wide. The entire pin is in pristine clean condition with only very minimal signs of wear from gentle handling. The back has the original fine working safety clasp. The pin is not signed however I believe this is an early Gerry's design.
