Many years ago I acquired an Art Deco necklace made of Murano or Venetian gold foil glass beads. There were only 12 beads on the necklace and the necklace was very short. As these uncommon beads are square, I knew someday they would make perfect earrings.
The beads now have a new life, with gold metal pierced ear wires and baroque satin gold faux pearls. The foil glass beads are caned with metallic gold, deep metallic copper red and frosty lavender. The beads are clear amber glass and the colors are twisted canes on the outside of the glass on all sides.
The beads are 5/ 8" x 1/2" and 1/4" thick. The earrings hang down 1 1/2" long.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
