This very unique handmade seashell necklace is a fringe style from the 1970s. It is one that I have kept stashed away for a very long time because it is so unique.
The long, slender, and slightly curved shell sections are olive shells which have leopard like patterns on the outsides and pink conch shell like colors on the insides. The sections are strung so that the shells all curve in one direction. The upper portion of the necklace looks like wood beads, but they are actually a type of sea pods or sea beans.
The shell portion of the necklace is 5 1/2" wide and the shells hang down about 1 3/4" long. The necklace is 17 1/2" long overall and is not signed. This necklace is in excellent condition with no missing, chipped, or broken shells and the sea beans are perfect as well. This necklace has been very well cared for and is very perfect and clean.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
