Made in the 1970s, this unique medallion style necklace was all hand made. The necklace is not signed however this type of art is vintage India craftsmanship.

The large medallions are woven designs of copper, brass, and stainless-steel wire. Once the woven circles were finished, a solid brass plate was fitted to the backs and crimped around the perimeters. The necklace is styled in a drape fashion with one larger medallion at the center. (On the model, it hangs down a little lower than it does on a real person.)

Finished with brass chain and a lobster clap, the necklace is 25" or 64 cm long. Four medallions are 2" or 51 mm wide and the larger center medallion is 2 1/2" or 64 mm wide. The entire necklace is in spectacular like new pristine clean condition. There are no imperfections or flaws like scratches or missing wire.
