Authentic Vintage seahorse pins are rather difficult to find. This large designer signed seahorse brooch features classic nautical colors of gold with emerald and navy translucent enamels. The brooch is a modern design and is signed L8; a signature I'm not familiar with.

The style and design is consistent with seahorse jewelry made in the 1970-1980 era and is a high-quality piece. The body of the seahorse has a horizontal linear beaded texture in satin gold metal. Both vertical sides of the seahorse skeleton have recessed panels in emerald and navy translucent enamels.

Large in size, the seahorse is 2 3/4" tall x 1" wide or 70 mm x 25 mm. The entire brooch is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. It has obviously never been worn and there are no scratches, dings, or wear. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the L8 signature.
