Made in the 1970s, these gold lion clip earrings are a unique vintage design. A neat 3d design, the Lions are a two-part design. T molded Lions have strong molding in relief attached to flat panel metal backs. The gold is a rich brushed satin yellow gold; not a bright shiny polished gold.

As the lion heads are hollow, the earrings are lightweight to wear. This is nice because most gold lion vintage earrings are very heavy to wear.

Medium in size, the Lions are 1 1/2" or 40 mm long. Both earrings are in pristine clean condition. There is no gold wear or loss of gold and no scratches or dings. The backs have some light signs of wear. The clips are like new and in perfect working order.
