I have always wanted to wear this necklace as I love the design, but I've kept it safely stashed away and protected instead....for over 40 years!

Made in the 1960-1970 era, this authentic vintage spike necklace is a very unusual find. This necklace is made of solid chrome and it is heavy. It weighs a hefty 107 grams. The design has sections of spiked ball beads separated by curved tube beads strung on strong stainless steel cable.

Finished with a stainless steel spring clasp, the necklace is 19 1/2" or 50 cm long. The longest spike ball beads are about 3/8" or 20 mm long. An extension chain can be added to make it longer.

I have taken before and after photos of this necklace. As it is vintage, it was not perfectly polished and the before photo shows what it looks like unpolished. The necklace is in perfect condition with no scratches, dings or metal wear. It should be very lightly polished with MAAS silver metal cleaner once in a while.
