These vintage 1980s large round disk pierced earrings are made of Mother of Pearl shells. The shells are silk screened in a modern Escher inspired print in metallic jewel tone colors of bright red, lime, lemon, bright blue, and black.

The shell is thick and durable and somewhat weighty to wear, but not heavy. The earrings were made for pierced ears. With the silver metal ear wires, they hang down 2 3/4" or 6.9 cm long. The disks are 2" or 5 cm wide. The backs of the earrings are natural Mother of Pearl shells with no prints.

The earrings are new and never worn; pristine perfect condition.
