This springtime Limited Edition Franklin Mint Butterfly and Blue Bird plate was hand painted by a Japanese artist Wei Tseng Yang and was made in 1981. The date is on the back of the plate and the rest of the writing is in Japanese.

The lively scene is red and yellow butterflies, blue birds, yellow roses, and pink cherry blossoms with a mountain in the background. The rim of the plate is trimmed in 24kt gold.

The plate is 7 1/2" or 19 cm wide. It has been stored away and never used and the entire plate is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws.
