This impressive large ships wheel brooch is a unique nautical treasure. The brooch is not signed that I can find but it was most likely made by Coro/Vendome. It was made in the 1960s and I have seen this same ships wheel pin in white enamel, but it cant hold a candle to this uncommon one finished in bright red enamel.

The wheel is an impressive presentation piece at 3" or 7.5 cm wide. It is made of thick and durable cast metal and the wheel is wrapped in gold metal anchor chain and finished with tassel chain at the bottom.

This brooch could also be worn as a pendant by attaching a chain to the bar on the pin back. The entire pin is in pristine microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or signs of wear. The enamels are glossy with no scratches or chips and the gold chain is bright and like new.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
