This very old hand made beaded flower brooch is a piece Ian St. Geilar would envy !

The brooch is diamond shaped and begins with two layers of pink silk covered plyboard. The top is loaded with stacks of pastel colored beads and pearls, all hand wired into place. The pearls and round beads are glass and the leaves and flowers are celluloid but flowers and leaves look like glass: they are old Czech leaf beads from the 1930s.

The brooch was most likely made in the 1930-1940 era.

Unsigned, the is not small at 2 1/4" long x 1 1/8" tall.

Very excellent clean condition. No missing glass beads. may be some tiny missing pearls around the perimeter. Silk is not worn or torn. Back has sewn on safety clasp style closure.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
