This sterling silver pin is a very old European design of grapes and grape leaves. The brooch dates from the 1930s and was most likely made in Italy, England, or Germany. The brooch is stamped Sterling in 2 places and the letters are very old European typeset.
The brooch is slightly domed and is medium in size at 2" long x 1 1 / 2" tall. The pin stem is brass but the hinge and old style safety clasp are sterling (not a C Clasp, but a 1930s old style safety clasp).
This brooch is in fabulous condition and has been extremely well cared for. The sterling is clean and there are no scratches, scuffs, or dings. If you look at the brooch on a microscopic level, only then might you be able to detect some light and minor signs of handling, hardly worth noting.
This sterling mold cast design is very old European styling.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
You can add a silver brooch slider to convert this pin to a pendant by checking the option box. Horizontal sliders come with a pair of silicon stoppers to hold slider in place.
