Made in the 1950-1960 era, these vintage cufflinks were made in Greece for the tourist trade. Today, I think you would find it difficult to find anyone still making cufflinks in Greece for the tourist trade. Its just not a high demand item like to used to be when all men wore cufflinks.
The cufflinks feature a scenic motif in relief with the word Athens above the Parthenon. The elliptical insert/clasp features a traditional Greek key design in relief. The cufflinks are made of a mix of pewter and nickel and they are unworn and still on their original card that is signed " Souvenir de Greece ".
Medium petite in size, the round coin like designs are about 3/4" or 18 mm wide. The pair is in pristine like new microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. There is no metal wear and no scratches, scuffs, or dings. The original card has some wear and tear from handling.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation cufflink box as pictured.
