Beaucraft Sterling began making jewelry in 1947 in Providence RI.
In the early 1950s they made one of their most popular hottest selling pins ever: this 3D sterling silver grand piano.
This pin sold like hotcakes and Beaucraft immediately began producing a whole line of musical pins including guitars, saxophones, clarinets, musical staffs, treble clefs, and more. It was a given that if you played a musical instrument in the 1950's, you would assuredly get one of these pins for Christmas from parents or relatives!
Petite in size, the piano is 1 1/2" or 33 mm wide. The back is signed Beau Sterling and the original sterling safety clasp and sterling bar hinge is in perfect working order. The pin has been professionally cleaned and polished and is in excellent condition with no imperfections such as scratches, dings, or dents. A light aged patina is still in tact.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation pin box.
