These signed Renoir solid copper earrings are a design that I really love from the 1950s, and a design that is rather hard to find.
The earrings have a space age design influence, fashioned like planet rings. The reason these particular earrings are hard to find is because this is an older unnamed Renoir design that is not easy to find. The copper is bright and clean and this design looks amazing on!
The earrings make a bold impressive statement, but they are not heavy and are rather light weight to wear. The earrings measure 1 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" long. Both earrings are signed Renoir. When you wear them, the semi-hoop portion is vertical at the bottom of your ear lobe. The rings will hang down lower than your ear lobe.
You'll be very pleased to know that these earrings look like they have never been worn and the copper is in pristine condition. There are no scratches, scuffs, dings, or wear. The earrings are clips; the clips are not worn and are strong with tight snap. On the backs, there is some very light wear around the rims where earrings touch when resting or sitting.
