Made in the 1950s, this round satin etched silver metal locket has delicate embossed flowers and leaves on both sides.
Embossed button designs like this were also made in clip earring styles and while the locket is not signed,
this motif was most commonly made by Coro. It is a vintage design that is not commonly found.
The locket is feminine and pretty, and as you can see, the silver metal is over 50 years old and it does not tarnish or wear. The inside has places for 2 photos. Medium in size, the locket is 1 1/8" or 28 mm wide. The sterling plated chain is 18" or 46 cm long with jump rings where it can also be hooked at 17" or 16".
The locket and chain are both in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws.
It is obvious the locket has never been used. There is no silver metal wear or loss of silver metal and no scratches.
The locket clasp is in perfect working order.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation necklace box.
