This winter time Limited Edition Franklin Blue Bird plate was hand painted by a Japanese artist Wei Tseng Yang and was made in 1981. The date is on the back of the plate and the rest of the writing is in Japanese.

The beautiful scene is a pair of blue birds,snow on trees and mountains, and white and light green cherry blossoms. The rim of the plate is trimmed in 24kt gold. The plate is 7 1/2" or 19 cm wide. It has been stored away and never used and the entire plate is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws.
