Gold Eagle Necklace Big Diamond Etched Pendant 1970s Vintage Jewelry
Price:
$195.00
Made in the 1970s, this big gold eagle medallion is a very impressive diamond etched pendant. The eagle was originally made for men but can be worn by women as well.
The eagle is molded 14kt gold plated metal. It is very 3D in design as the brilliant feathers are diamond wheel etched creating sharp, deep bevels. Although the eagle is not signed, know that gold plated jewelry that was made in the 60's and 70s is great quality and very different than low-quality gold-plated jewelry today.
This piece is exceptionally well made, and the gold will always stay bright and shiny. It will not tarnish, dull, or look dirty. Cleaning with an old toothbrush and fine jewelry cleaner is all you have to do about once a year to keep the brilliant sparkle.
The eagle is rather massive but is not heavy to wear. It measures 2 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" wide or 6.3 cm x 5.8 cm. The entire pendant is in pristine microscopically clean like new condition. There are no imperfections or flaws. I have never had a chain for this eagle and it is strung on braided black silk cord with a silver metal extension chain and lobster hook. It can be hooked anywhere between 20" and 22" long, or 50 cm to 55 cm. It will look much nicer if you put it on a thick braided gold chain.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
