Gold Snake Brooch Signed DeNicola 1950s Jewelry
Price:
$349.00
In the early 1960s, DeNicola Jewelry made a couple of different gold serpent pins in the spirit of Cleopatra and Egyptian Revival jewelry, which was in high style when Elizabeth Taylor starred as Cleopatra in the 1963 movie.
DeNicola gold snake pins in mint condition are rather hard to find today and all DeNicola jewelry is highly collectable and appreciates in value.
This trio of intertwined snakes has glistening yellow gold plating that DeNicola was famous for. The snakes are etched in reptile skin patterns and all three have emerald rhinestone eyes.
Now, you don't wear this pin because you love snakes or because you love Egyptian Revival jewelry. Like Madeleine Albright would, you wear the pin when you are meeting with someone to send them a message that either you can be venomous in your decisions, or that the person you are addressing is perhaps venomous in their approach to you!
The brooch is not large or ostentatious. It is medium in size at 2" wide x 1 1/4" tall or 50 mm x 32 mm.
The entire pin is in pristine microscopically clean like new condition with no imperfections of flaws. There is no gold wear or loss of gold anywhere and the brooch has the original fine working safety clasp. The back has the signed DeNicola cartouche.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
