Made in the 1950s, these milk glass and clear crystal earrings are a unique Mid Century Modern design. They are not signed but were most likely made in West Germany.
These tri-layered clip earrings feature large milk glass cubes at the center. A frame of 5 mm milk glass rounds surround the cubes. On the bottom layer are large 8 mm milk glass rounds with large clear crystals that have silver flower head pins.
Look at the back of the earrings and you can see the nicely made gold filigree settings. All of the beads on these earrings are wired in place with brass wire.
Medium large in size, these earrings are a little bit larger than most typical milk glass clip earrings from the 1950s. The earrings are about 1 1/4" or 32 mm wide. The milk glass cubes are 3/8" or 10 mm wide and the crystals are 10 mm as well.
The pair is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The brass clips on the backs have an aged patina and are in perfect working order. The earrings are not signed.
